Driftwood play at Greenfields Shooting Club in Sturry on 26th September 2012

Driftwood played at the Greenfields Shooting Club in Sturry for Over Fifties group. It was great fun and they made us really welcome.

It was good to hear the audience singing along and playing shaky eggs, and to see so many smiling faces.

Driftwood play at the Market Inn in Sandwich on 23rd Sept 2012


Another great gig for Driftwood at the Market Inn, Sandwich on 23rd September 2012. Our thanks to Jeanette and Bob for their hospitality.

It was good to hear some of the audience joining in with shaky eggs and some singing.

Our special thanks to Francesca & Colin for coming along to see us - it's always good to see a friendly face at a gig.

Driftwood play at the Astor Theatre, Deal on 16th Sept 2012



Driftwood played at the Astor Theatre in Deal as one of the support acts of the early evening concert of Nick Wyke & Becki Driscoll.

The concert was part of the Deal Maritime Folk Festival on 16th September 2012.

It was great to play at the Astor again, especially with the new stage lighting - made us look like real stars.

Driftwood play at Just Reproach, Deal 15th & 16th Sept 2012

Driftwood had a great time playing at The Just Reproach - Deal's very own Micro Pub - on 15th & 16th September as part of the Deal Maritime Folk Festival.  Our thanks to Mark and his staff for their hospitality.  In fact we were there so much it felt like we had moved in.

We had a brilliant time and the atmosphere was great - thanks to all those who came along and joined in with shaky eggs and the singing.  Thanks to Andy and his group Franglais for their songs.

Port Arms, Deal 14th Sept 2012

Driftwood played at the Port Arms, in Deal, as part of the Deal Maritime Folk Festival.  Our thanks to both Nikki's for their hospitality.

It was a great acoustic gig and thanks to Sheila Jones for joining in on some numbers with her violin - brilliant, it really added to our sound.

Also thanks to Adrian O for coming along and playing us some songs, and to Lis Clayson who sang a couple of songs with us.
