Driftwood play at Milton Cottage in Eastry on 7th July 2012 as part of Sue Manton's Artist open studio

Driftwood played in the garden at Milton Cottage in Eastry on 7th July 2012 as part of Sue Manton's open art studio - SEAS Art Group.  It was a lovely afternoon and we had our very own stage. Colin joined us for some ukulele songs - great fun! Many thanks for Sue for making us so welcome.  Sue had some beautiful pictures, check her out on www.suemanton.co.uk

Greenpeace Acoustic Music Event at Black Robin, Kingston on 28th July 2912

We had a brilliant day at the Greenpeace Acoustic Music Event, held at the Black Robin in Kingston.  It started at 12 noon when we played our first set on the Main Stage, accompanied by audience members with shaky eggs. After lunch we did another set, playing acoustically on the decking area and managed to get a few children joining in with shaky eggs. We finished off the afternoon with a playalong in the car park area where Greenpeace had some stalls - it was great fun and yes you've guessed it - shaky eggs were again involved. Our thanks to Ray Fielder for organising the event and asking us to play.  Also special thanks to the Landlady at the Black Robin for her hospitality.
